Athena briskly walked away from the crowd of people who were listening to that Asian girl whack-job. She needed to go and consult her coven and see if there was any way to reverse what had happened to her. One thing was clear in her mind - this was definitely the work of magic. But it would take a master sorcerer to pull off something like this, and she wasn't aware of any in town.
"Angie, where are you going?" the cheerleader girl asked, following her.
Athena groaned. What was with this girl? Why wouldn't she leave her alone? Athena spun around and glared at her. "I told you. My name is Athena."
The girl stopped in her tracks and lowered her head. "I know. But ... if she switched with you, maybe you'll know where she is."
The cheerleader had a point. But Athena didn't have time to go searching around town for ... herself. She had to consult her coven and get to the bottom of all this.
"Tell me where you were before you switched," the girl said.
"I was at the Occult Stop."
"What? But ... why ... why were you in there?" the girl stuttered, not really believing what she had said.
"I was buying something."
"What kind of girl shops at an evil place like that?" the girl asked.
"I shop there because I'm a witch," Athena said.
The cheerleader's eyes went wide with shock. The girl suddenly felt ill. She never thought she would ever hear the phrase "I'm a witch" come from her friend's mouth. Truly, the girl who switched with her friend wasn't just blasphemous. She was downright evil.
"Now, leave me alone. The faster I consult with my coven, the faster ..." Suddenly the cheerleader slugged her in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.
"I want my friend back, you devil worshiper!" the cheerleader yelled, as she continued to wail on Athena.
