I was so immersed in my own thoughts that I hardly noticed my possible savior go by me. A carriage! It looked kind of old and beat and had what looked like an old dwarf sitting in the front with two horses. There were about four seats in the back. It was trotting slowly down the street.

I ran up to the carriage but didn't know how to attract the dwarf's attention. I decided to just yell "Hey! Dwarf!" My high pitched voice still sounded strange.

The dwarf turned around towards me with an angry look, but he saw me and started to grin. He stopped the horses as I ran up next to him.

Still holding a smile he looked me up and down, making me feel a little embarassed. "Aye, what can I do for ya, lass?" he asked. He sounded like a stereotypical dwarf -- maybe a little Scottish.

"Umm," I said, "I'm looking for a ride across town. You couldn't possibly give me one could you?"

The dwarf sneered. "What do you think I'm here for, getting some fresh air? If you have Gil I'll take you anywhere you want to go."

"GREAT!" I smiled, and pulled myself into the carriage. (This was a little bit of a struggle, since I was only five foot tall now. Luckily, I seemed plenty strong enough to pull myself up with my arms.)

I pulled open my MAP and looked for the name of where Suzie was. It looked like she'd been moving around. She was inside a clothing store now in an area called "West Cove." There were a lot of stores there, it looked like some kind of medieval shopping center next to a park and a bay.

"I need to get to West Cove sir," I said. "I'd really appreciate it if we could get there as fast as possible! I need to meet someone."

The dwarf laughed. "Tryst with a gentleman, eh? Well, I'll get you there as fast as my horses can take me, but just so you know, express rides cost double." He winked at me, and I didn't like it.

I blushed, feeling uncomfortable. "Thanks, sir." The horses took off to a gallop and I sat back to enjoy the ride.
