What makes this 'retreat' interesting, and why don't we need to bring anything? Jon wondered as they left the driveway.
They drove for several hours, until they came to a lake surrounded by a number of cabins. There was a strange concrete building off to one side. Jon wondered what it was for. A woman with a clipboard greeted them. "Thank you all for coming," she said. "We'll get you assigned to a cabin, then take you to the transformation chamber so that you can enjoy your retreat as soon as possible."
Transformation chamber? Jon thought. Why would they have one of those? Then Jon took a second look at the woman who had met them. She was a centaur! And she was topless! Looking at the other guests, they were all centaurs as well. His family seemed completely comfortable with the concept of being turned into centaurs. Jon numbly followed his family as they made their way towards the strange building, unsure of how this would turn out.
