"What makes this 'retreat' interesting, and why don't we need to bring anything?" Jon wondered as they left the driveway.
They had gone a good distance when they finally turned into a small area around a lake with several Cabins.
Jon's Family got out of their car, and into their respective cabins, their were other families all around finding there cabins as well.
once the move in was complete, which was simple since they brought next to nothing. A note on the counter said to turn on the TV to channel 5
The Family all gathered on the couch to see what it was all about. Even Zoe seemed interested.
On TV was a scientist sitting in a chair, talking to a camera... very cliche looking.
"So I guess you are wondering why you were invited on this retreat, and even more so why you were told not to pack anything, well the second, is because, everything you need will be provided for you, the first is a little more complicated. You see... you... are for lack of a better word test subjects."
and at that moment the doors all clicked a locking sound.
"Don't worry about the doors, that is just a safety for anyone that wants to run, we need all of you, and the experiment won't harm you in anyway." he took at a folder with Jon's Family's last name on it. "Each family is part of a different experiment, though some of you may be grouped together, the experiment on your family is... oh this should be an interesting one."
