The gates were open for the outpost and people were streaming in and out of the place as trading went on before the full brunt of the winter struck the reason. Eric blushed as she entered the outpost because many of the people were familiar to her, and she felt vulnerable around them as they eyed her clothing which marked her as one of them but her appearance was not one of the tribe. She wanted to be away from them and the questioning looks they had.

“Why don’t we go into the Golden Goose?” Eric offered. Most barbarians didn’t like to eat at restaurants because it seemed a terrible waste of money, and the Golden Goose was one of the more expensive places.

“That is an excellent idea though I think you might need a different outfit,” the Prince responded.

“I am hungry, so let us get this outfit,” Eric eyed a clothing shop and headed towards it. It would be so much better to have clothing that fit her new shape, so she wouldn’t stick out so much. She was glad the others had gone ahead to the bar, so this would be less embarrassing for her as she would have less people eyeing her as she found the proper clothing.

The shop had an amazing collection of colors and fabrics but the place was empty other than a single shop girl which was explained by most of dresses seeming thin for the harsher climates. The owner had likely thought the novelty of the clothing would appeal to the tribes, but most people here were practical or they were dead. A couple of barbarians staring at her and whispering caused her to go into a dressing room, so she could change. She had to admit the fabric felt much nicer against her skin and fit a lot better. The dress was a form fitting black outfit that gave very clear evidence of her new body. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail, and stepped out of the curtained off booth to the wide eyes of the young Prince.

“Yes, that dress will certainly get us into the Golden Goose,” Prince Alex shook off the stare, and Eric felt a jolt of joy at him being pleased with her appearance. “I suggest you go by Erica while we are in town and let me get you a coat, because I don’t think that outfit will be enough to keep you warm. Just think of it as pay back for the good service you have done us.”

“That would be nice,” Erica smiled warmly.

The pair exited the should a short time later with Erica’s new outfit covered by a soft and luxurious fur coat. She had to admit the craftsmanship on the coat was excellent though wolverine fur would have kept out the cold better. The other nobles, Viscount Vincent, Earl Bucks and Baron Wilcox looked on surprised when Prince Alex and Erica exit the dress shop, but they followed them to the Golden Goose and went inside.

The Golden Goose was an expensive restaurant placed here to cater to the many nobles in the area when they tired of wild game done by their own cooks at their many fine hunting lodges they owned. Prince Alex drew many looks from the other patrons, but not as many as the stunning blonde in the skin tight black dress. Her cleavage brought much envy from the rest of the restaurant. The waiter quickly escorted the group to a table and pour them some fine wine. For some reason these stares were very pleasing to Erica.
