The potion might be helpful but Karas was hesitant to use any magic produced by a amateur. Karas thanked, "Mary for her offer but save the potion for later in case they needed it. Mary smiled, "I would be happy to go with you, it gets a might lonely with my son being gone so often. A real adventure would suit me nicely. I will write my son a note that I will be gone for a spell. Than I think I will drop by the Kemptons they have a girl about your size and I will borrow a dress. You rest up and we will head out in the morning after you get some of your strength back. You can use the guest bedroom while I step out and run a few errands."
"I thank you for your continued assistance." Karas spoke grateful that she could finally get some rest. Karas made his way to the bedroom thinking about the prospect of wearing a dress tomorrow. She shrugged her shoulders, it would hardly be her worst experience in the last few days. Sliding into the comfy bed she finally began to feel the aches and pains from pushing her body so far. The full stomach and sheer exhaustion helped her into restful sleep with no worries pressing on her mind.
Mary visited her neighbors she arranged for their son to tend her place while she traveled. She also procured some clothes for Karas. After getting her things packed she set out Kara's new clothes. The dress a simple light blue one with some low heeled walking shoes. She made a light supper for herself before going to bed. When she woke in the morning she hurriedly readied herself and made a hearty breakfast for them both. By the time Karas got out of bed the food was set out.
Karas wandered out with the dress neatly on her a bit over sized though. The odd thing that struck Mary was that it looked perfectly sized yesterday when she brought it home. Then it struck her that Karas appeared smaller than the day before. She'd also put on a dress with no assistance. She realized that Karas's changes were continuing.
