And then pain, so much pain, all the people who had no faults, died or who suffered excruciatingly from a disease that was not so lethal at all.
Broken families, broken dreams, premature deaths, people transformed into body parts and the ultimate realization, her cancer. She was not deadly ill in the original reality, there she was a healthy, full of life and a carefree girl.
Jon listened to everything, Sarah finally understood how the stone worked and used it! She was looking for a way to get him out of there. Jon was beside himself with joy and to her surprise Sarah was also moving very well in expressing her wishes. He had always misjudged her.
