The potential was endless, Sarah was totally excited. This was a fantastic and impossible thing. But what had Joan said? That you had to be careful about how they expressed their wishes. Certainly if she was really all the fault of Jon's desire she had to be particularly careful.
"So Joan," Sarah said, speaking downwards to her inner parts, "I see you weren't kidding me. Let's see if I can figure out how to fix the situation." Despite being the head of the cheerleaders Sarah wans't a vapid or stupid girl. Sure she was manipulative and she preferred other systems to obtain what she wanted, but she knew how to use her brain.
“First of all,” she said “I wish to know how the stone works and what the limits are for the wishes”. Suddenly Sarah knew how the stone worked, that she had to somehow touch it and say a phrase with "I wish" and that all wishes were permanent, it was not possible to cancel them through other wishes. Furthermore, the number of wishes was infinite. This will make it difficult to save Jon from his situation, although to be sure she first had to know what exactly Jon had wanted.
She concentrated and shortly after she said "I wish to know the exact wording of Jon's last wish". In her mind he formed the phrase "mmm, I'm bored. I wish something interesting would happen".
"Oh my God Jon how stupid you are, indeed with such a vague wish it's a mystery how you only became my vagina. I can't believe you had total power in your pocket and you used it so superficially just because you were bored." Sarah said shaking her head.
Fortunately, the vague desire expressed by Jon could also allow some possibility of intervention. But Sarah wanted to play it safe, she still didn't have all the information necessary to risk a real wish.
She thought about it for a while when she decided to ask the stone: "I wish to know how Jon's last wish changed the original reality." A very strong migraine hit Sarah, the notions required were too many, all at once. She screamed, holding her head in her hands, as two parallel realities overlapped one another in her mind. The reality as she knew it was almost a fiction, lethal diseases such as cancer did not affect almost one in three people but were much rarer, scientists had not sought miraculous cures for this event, it was not possible to transform people into body parts and it was not necessary to save lives. And then pain, so much pain, all the people who had no faults, died or who suffered excruciatingly from a disease that was not so lethal at all.
Broken families, broken dreams, premature deaths, people transformed into body parts and the ultimate realization, her cancer. She was not deadly ill in the original reality, there she was a healthy, full of life and a carefree girl.
Jon listened to everything, Sarah finally understood how the stone worked and used it! She was looking for a way to get him out of there. Jon was beside himself with joy and to her surprise Sarah was also moving very well in expressing her wishes. He had always misjudged her.
Then suddenly he felt her body shake and then scream, he didn't know what was going on but Sarah seemed to be convulsing.
A wave of fury, disdain and rage hit Jon and shortly after he heard Sarah: "You ... you ... how did you do it, do you have any idea what you did? Do you have any idea of the hell I had to go through because of you? No of course not, so you ... "she began to freak out uncontrollably" out of boredom! Out of boredom Jon!! You deserve the worst punishment for the suffering you brought to this world! Your father, you realize that you did kill your father?"
Jon had no idea what he was talking about, but he knew she wasn't lying. He really felt very mortified to have made such a stupid wish as a shift of emotions gave him convulsions. Sarah was totally blinded with pain and she still had the stone in her hand.
