Jon sat up and looked between his legs, worried that something might have happened to him. But everything looked normal.
He had a bit of a morning erection but it was going down... yet it felt like it wasn't. It felt like someone was... Then he heard a faint sound from his parents' room. "They must be..."
And Jon, coming to that realization, mentally recoiled from the thought of his parents having sex, and the feeling vanished.
"Wait a minute," he thought. "No, that couldn't be..." He couldn't resist the temptation to try it for just a second and concentrated on the feeling... and suddenly felt it again. He recoiled, because of the realization... if he really had been feeling what his dad had felt, he would shortly be having the full feelings of intercourse with his mother. He had stopped just in time.
Instead Jon tried to test something more innocent. He concentrated on sight, this time. If he was feeling what someone else was feeling, could he see or hear what they were seeing or hearing? Nothing happened, and he got up from bed... then decided to try again for just one last time.
He could see Mikey's room. From Mikey's height. And his field of vision was moving. Then he saw Mikey's hands pick up a shirt and start to put it on... There was no doubt. He had managed to gain the ability to sense what other people were sensing, whether sexual or not. It was limited by distance, or direction, or both, since he wasn't able to see out of Mikey's eyes until he got up and walked around, but it wasn't limited by walls.
He just had to be careful not to use it accidentally, since as he was sleeping or waking up he managed to pick up feelings from his dad that he really didn't want to be picking up....
