"Just great," Jon thought to himself. "Karyn made a mistake with the first wish she makes and I make a useless wish with who knows what for ramifications."
Realizing that the stone really was dangerous, Jon decided to stash it securely in the box where he hides his stash of dirty magazines... "at least for now," he muttered to himself
Jon met up with Karyn at school well before classes were supposed to begin. A consequence of having to ride the bus, both Karyn and Jon each arrived at school about 30 minutes earlier than was actually necessary.
"Jon, something didn't turn out right with my wish yesterday."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, my mom seemed geniunely surprised with the changes in my appearance."
"Wait just a minute! The instructions my grandpa left clearly said..." Jon trailed off for a moment remembering his careless wish the previous day... "something interesting would happen"... Could this be it?
Before they could discuss the matter further, one of Sarah McMillan's lackeys, Tiffany, walked up to them. "There you two are! Dr von... Oh my gawd!" Tiffany pushed Jon aside as she dashed directly in front of Karyn. "That quack's invention really did work! Your chest and hair are EXACTLY like Sarah's! He's going to want to see you two right away"
"Doctor who?" Jon asked. Karyn started to chuckle for a moment at Jon's question, but then focused on trying to figure out what was going on. Looking quite disgusted for having been sent to fetch Jon and Karyn, Tiffany huffed as she responded.
"Don't try and act like you and Jon didn't volunteer to be in Dr. von Schtupple's experiment this week. Now come on you two before someone sees me talking to you. It's bad enough I had to come find you."
Jon and Karyn followed Tiffany into a wing of the school that Jon didn't recognize. "I don't remember this being here."
"Come on Jon, Dr. von Schtupple was hired just a year ago by the school. There was a big deal about a grant being offered for medical research in the news."
As Jon and Karyn entered the laboratory of Dr. Johan von Schtupple, Jon worried about the ramifications about his wish the previous night. "Although Karyn still remembers making the wish for her chest and hair," Jon thought to himself, "At least she doesn't know this Doctor being here is my fault. Who knows what we're in for now."
