As Brandon and his mother continued looking around, Brandon started to feel funny and tried to shake it off, but the feeling persisted. 'Am I just nervous that I'm afraid mom or dad are going to find this thing stuck to me before I manage to take it off?' he thinks to himself.
While he stood there, he started to notice that everything was appearing to be smaller in size and he was wondering if there was something wrong with his eyesight when he glanced down and noticed he was farther up from off of the floor than before.
"Am I getting taller?" he asks himself and indeed that is the case as he stops growing at 5'4" tall and appears to be in his mid-twenties as far as age goes.
He couldn't believe what he was seeing, his clothes didn't change at all with him, and were straining very hard to keep from ripping off of his body. As he ran his hands along them, he was alarmed to notice that his fingernails were now longer and manicured, while also having a bright red color to them.
'Why do my fingernails look like the ones mommy has sometimes?' he thinks to himself, not believing what he's seeing.
Speaking of his mother, she had decided that none of the costumes they had were ones she'd be interested in for her son, as well as being pretty expensive, and went to go get him and when she found him, she was shocked at his changes. "Brandon, what did you do? What happened to you?" she asks.
