As soon as Brandon get as look at what's happening to his shoes, he quickly starts tugging on his mom's blouse sleeve. "Mommy, look what's happening to my shoes." he says as he quickly starts pointing downwards towards his feet.
But Mary starts brushing him off. "I know you're excited about coming over to your friends' house but you need to calm down and there's nothing happening to your shoes." she says.
"But mommy."
"But nothing now quiet down." she says as Brandon starts pouting as he can't believe his mother won't even take a look to see what's wrong with him. He starts getting taller again, this time reaching 5'1" tall as his age increases to sixteen years old while a wallet appears in his back pocket containing a driver's license for the state of Texas, despite the fact that they live in Missouri.
The door finally opens as Elizabeth Tanner opens the door. "Hello Mary, hello Brandon. Come on in, Trevor and Bobby are both upstairs in their room waiting for you." she says.
'Maybe they'll see something wrong with how my shoes look.' he thinks to himself as he starts heading upstairs while Elizabeth looks at him.
"Those are some nice shoes you got for him Mary, where did you buy them?" she asks as she was completely oblivious to their continuing changes as they turned completely bright white and grew up to a few inches below his knees while the heel solidified at a 2" block heel.
But that's not where they would stop as at the front and the back of them, they developed a V-shape to them as a grey star appeared on each side of his new cheerleader boots, completing their transformation.
