In the present time, Mary was still trying to figure out just how to get the stopwatch to work while the shopkeeper was keeping an eye on how things were going in Victorian England. "Hmmmm well this is certainly an interesting turn of events." he says to himself.
Mary quickly takes her attention away from the watch, rushing over to the screen. "What do you mean? What's going on with my son?" she asks.
The shopkeeper shrugs his shoulders. "He just arrived at another house and it looks like him and a group of noblewomen are about to have tea. But the interesting thing is that he came with a man, looks like he's in his fifties, and they've been really chummy." he says.
Mary watches as Charles, who's still standing next to Briendiere, quietly excuses himself and inquires about where the men of the house are holding vigil at.
"I won't let that man do anything with my son." she says as she quickly gets back to work in trying to figure out the stopwatch.
