While his mother was busy talking with the shopkeeper, Brandon decided to wander off on his own. As she doesn't notice that he walked away, he makes his way over towards the vintage section of the shop. "I wonder what kind of cool stuff they have over here." he says to himself.
When he gets there, he quickly notices that all of the costumes that are there are just various articles of clothing and accessories and there aren't any real costumes there. "What a jip." he says to himself when suddenly something catches his eye.
"Oh wow this is kinda neat." he says to himself as he holds up a parasol. He looks around to make sure that his mom isn't looking before he decides to have some fun opening and closing it. "This is pretty cool." he says as he keeps playing with it.
His mom though glances over at him and sees him messing with it. "Brandon put that down and come back over here." she says to him as she doesn't want him potentially breaking something she might have to pay for.
Sighing to himself, he goes to put it back when he starts to feel the air ripple around him. "Mommy something very weird is going on." he says as his mom turns around and is frightened to see him suddenly disappear.
"Brandon where did you go?" she asks in fear as she starts looking around for her son.
The shopkeeper sighs as he turns on the TV behind the counter. "I think you can see him here." he says as he points out on the TV that Brandon has appeared on the sidewalk of a cobblestone street.
"What in the...." is all his mother Mary manages to get out.
