While Brandon was browsing for something he'd like, his mom Mary was speaking with the shopkeeper. "So you don't have any full costumes here, anywhere?" she asked.
The shopkeeper just shrugged his shoulders at that. "I'm sorry ma'am, but there was a mix-up with the deliveries, so this is all we have. But what's here is definitely worth it." He paused, then walked around the counter. "Come with me. I'll show you something that would be just perfect for you."
"Actually, I was only looking for something for my son. He needs ..."
"Oh, nonsense. Adults wear costumes too, you know. Come. Let me show you something."
Mary looked over at Brandon and saw him browsing, seeing that he wasn't up to any mischief. Then she headed towards the back of the store with the shopkeeper.
"Try this on," the man said.
Mary looked at what the shopkeeper was holding for a moment, before the man urged her on.
"Go on."
Mary sighed, then did as the man said. The moment she did, she felt an odd tingle flow through her body, then it was gone. What was that?
"Well, what do you think?" the shopkeeper asked.
