Continuing to stare at the darkened stage with morbid anticipation and dread, Mary gradually distances herself from the bottom of the stairs as she once again rejoins the crowd of attendees.
As the intro for the concert's opening number begins to swell, excitement building amongst the legions of fans in attendance, Mary cannot help but feel that she will be horried by whatever happens next.
Suddenly, a burst of pyrotechnics engulf the stage, and Lady Gaga appears to a raucous reception from the concert crowd. She struts towards the center of the stage, her hips pivoting wildly and her skimpy and provocative outfit complimenting her sexy body fantastically. The singing sensation launches into one of her most famous songs, Bad Romance.
In a state of shock, Mary stares at her former son in an almost catatonic manner, struggling to comprehend that this woman; this "Lady Gaga", is what has become of her child.
However, Mary begins to feel new thoughts creep into her mind; that she is a huge Lady Gaga fan, and that she has been painfully waiting for months to attend this concert. She attempts to picture Brandon's image in her mind, and she struggles. Disturbed, Mary realises that she is also beginning to feel the effects of whatever transformed her child. She attempts to resist these changes.
What happens? Does Mary successfully resist, or does she succumb?
