Out on the street, Mary tried to piece together what had happened. It seemed impossible that her son could turn into a woman, but that's what happened. But when did it start? When he entered that Mercedes? Maybe. Or maybe it was before then. What were they doing before Brandon got into the Mercedes?
They were in that costume shop at the mall.
Having a feeling that the costume shop had something to do with her son's transformation (yeah, it all seemed ludicrous, but she had to start somewhere if she was going to figure out a way to get her son back), Mary headed back to her car and then drove back to the mall.
