While his mother was busy talking with the shopkeeper, Brandon decided to wander off on his own. As she doesn't notice that he walked away, he makes his way over towards the celebrity section of the shop. "I wonder what kind of cool stuff they have over here." he says to himself.
When he gets there, he quickly notices that all of the costumes that are there are just various articles of clothing and accessories and there aren't any real costumes there. "What a jip." he says to himself when suddenly something catches his eye.
"Oh wow these are neat." he says to himself as he holds up a pair of red gloves. He looks around to make sure that his mom isn't looking before he places them on his hands which, for some reason, causes Brandon's fingertips to feel odd. Removing the gloves, he realises that his fingernails have lengthened to that of a woman. "Uh oh." he says as he tries to pick them off but to no avail.
Strangely compelled to don the gloves one more, Brandon decides to put his hands in his pockets as a means of hiding them. "I'll find a way to take them off later." he says to himself.
Little does Bran Don, his name already separating into two, know however is that soon he won't even want to take them off as he slowly changes into a twenty five year old pop singer-songwriter.
