The next house to receive a phone call from Brivian was the one belonging to the Maxwell family. 10-year old Jimmy Maxwell was also one of Brandon's friends. But it wasn't Jimmy who answered the phone. It was his 32-year old father Jason instead.
Jason listened to the older woman as she went on and on about some party that evening and how he should attend. But he had no idea what she was talking about or even who she was. He ended up thinking that it was a wrong number. But before he could tell the woman that, she hung up.
"Who was that?" Jason's wife asked from the other room.
"Wrong number ... I think," he said. He was about to go back to watching TV, but as he approached the couch, an odd feeling came over him, as if he needed to leave the house to go do something.
