Charles made his goodbyes with Bridian and his ward, then headed off.
Bridian signaled for his driver to bring the limousine around to pick up both himself and Mary. As they waited for the limo, Bridian continued to age, becoming around 50 years old. He only had another seven years to go before he stopped aging.
Neither of them remembered driving themselves to the restaurant. As they changed throughout their meal, their car changed as well, turning into a limousine. And one of the valets was turned into their driver. By now, even he had fallen seamlessly into his new role.
The limo pulled up to the curb, allowing Bridian and Mary to climb inside. Then without any haste, the driver headed to their next destination, per Bridian's orders.
