With Mary having been sent away, that just left Brandon alone and by himself at the table. 'It's a shame I have to eat alone now, although it's better this than to deal with Mary acting ungrateful.' he thinks to himself.
At that point, he glances over across the room to see an older gentleman who appears to be in his late fifties sitting by himself and he seemed very familiar to Brandon. 'Maybe I should wave him over.' he thinks to himself.
He keeps staring at this man until they both make eye contact at which point Brandon gives him a warm smile and a wave. The gentleman picks up on this and decides to walk over to the table. "Hi have we met, you seem really familiar?" the man asks.
Brandon nods his head in agreement. "Yes, I felt the same way when I saw you. I'm Brandian." he says as he extends his hand with his palm facing downwards. His fingernails elongate while taking on a red polish to it.
The man takes Brandian's hand delicately while giving it a gentle shake. "Nice to meet you Brandian, I'm Charles." he says before glancing at the open seat across from him. "Do you mind if I join you?" he asks.
Meanwhile, Mary was sitting all alone at the bench outside of the restaurant wondering what's going on. 'Why is my son being like this and why am I compelled to go along with it?' she thinks to herself hoping some answer will come to her.
