Mary is no doubt confused as to just how her son managed to pull out being able to get them a table at the most exclusive restaurant in town. But it was the name that he brought up that caused her the most problems. 'Where have I heard that name Carnegie before?' she thinks to herself. 'But more importantly why would Brandon use it and the Maitre'd believe him.
A well dressed waiter makes his way over to the pair with two menus in his hand. "If you would follow me please and I'll have you seated." he says as he moves them into the dining room.
As the two of them walk towards an open table, Mary is behind Brandon and this is the first time she notices something wrong. 'When did he get so tall? And he really needs a haircut.' she thinks to herself.
Once they reach the table, the waiter pulls out the seat for Brandon and then for Mary. "Thank you." Brandon says as picks up the menu and looks through it. If Mary could see under the table, she'd notice Brandon crossing his legs underneath it in a very feminine manner.
And speaking of his legs those had gotten longer giving him a few more inches of height making him 5'4" and he would remain there.
The waiter gets out his pad and pencil and looks over his two guests. "Is either of you ready to order?" he asks.
