Brandon quickly returns to his mom, refusing to remove his hand from his pocket and is discretely moving about her, trying to make sure that she doesn't suspect anything. Eventually though, Mary gets tired of her search and decides that there's nothing here worth looking at. "Thank you for your time." she says to the shopkeeper before her and Brandon leave.
However, the shopkeeper just smiles to himself. "Oh no thank you." he says once they're gone as he knows that this next change is going to be fun.
Brandon and his mom return back to her car and once inside, Brandon takes a seat in the back of the car so his mom doesn't notice him keeping his hand in his pocket. Once he sits down, his blonde hair starts to get a little longer, reaching his chin and begins darkening to a dirty blonde.
Mary looks back at him and notices this. "We might need to get you a haircut while we're out to day too." she says. She goes over her list of things to do for the day and decides their next stop. "Well finding a costume can wait until the end of the day, how about we get some lunch first?" she suggests which makes Brandon feel a bit happier.
