When they got back to Madison's room, Jon and Madison sat on the bed.
"What do you think of them?" Madison asked.
"They seem a bit nicer than mine... Zoe, my little sister, is this brooding Goth girl. She's constantly pissed. Ethan seems a bit more friendly."
"Eh, he can also be a bit of a jock... I feel like this year at school is starting him on that path more."
"You know, I was thinking... Now that I've met them, I kinda had another idea."
"What's that, Jon?"
"I want to be you—or, rather, a twin of you—while I'm here. I feel like I'd get the whole experience that way, especially at school. And then you can be a twin of me when you come to visit. What do you think?"
Madison hesitated for a moment. "I can see it! I think it'd be fun having a twin sister for a bit, too... Actually, I have a better idea." She reached for the stone. "I wish that I had an amulet that, while we wore it, turned us into body doubles of the person in the other universe... And no one will notice."
They looked away for a split second, and Jon looked back at Madison, who was holding a plain necklace with a small pendant on it.
"Try it. This way, when I visit you, I can put it on and look like you."
Jon clasped the amulet around his neck and had to look away for a second. When he snapped back, he had become a girl identical in appearance to Madison.
"How do you look...Jessica?"
"I, uh..." Even her new voice was identical. "I like it! Though I'm gonna have to change clothes... These are practically hanging off me."
"This way, it'll be easier for us to be around each other and nobody will think it's weird that I'm with a guy."
"Help a girl out here?" Jessica grinned.
"Sure thing...sis." Madison helped Jessica out of all the boys clothes that awkwardly hung from her new body. "Welcome to the world of Madison Jones." She stared naked at herself. "I was thinking we could hang out at Tawnya's, so here, let me find you something cute." She rummaged through her closet and found a purple dress. "You'll look good in this, trust me."
Jessica gulped, but Madison helped her put it on—and the rest of her clothes—with ease. "Can't imagine boys get to have this feeling often..." Jessica shook her head.
"Wait 'till you have to dress up as me," Jessica smirked.
