Jon confused, got ready for the day, hoping some answers would come soon. Showering was a nostalgic experience it had been a few years since his body was this hair free.
As he opened his wardrobe he noticed another development. His clothes were now very unisex, it was a small difference as his clothes hadn't been either extremely masculine or feminine before but there hasn't been this much grey or jeans before. Jon put on the closest thing he could grab. He hadn't worried about fashion before and lacking a penis wasn't going to encourage him to now.
Dressed and ready for answers, Jon went to his hiding spot. The stone wasn't there.
Jon panicked. There wasn't anywhere else he'd put it, he checked his pockets from his clothes from the night before but still nothing. He checked his hiding spot again to confirm he wasn't going mad or blind and noticed something new. There was a coin that gave off an unusual shine. He picked it up and examined it under the sunlight.
One side silver, with a naked man and a spear. The other golden featuring a nice woman surrounded by roses. There was no numerical value on it at all. "This has to be connected" presumed Jon as he pocketed it and ran downstairs.
"Mom, do you know anything about this...?" Jon trailed as he came to the realisation he was talking to an empty kitchen. He spied a note on the kitchen counter. It read: "You've got to stop getting up late, dropping Zoe and Mikey at school on my way to work. Don't forget to lock up the house and good luck, love Mom". Jon had missed a ride and answers.
Jon locked up and started to make his way to his and Karyn's spot where they waited for their bus. Karyn was there, fidgeting in her green jumper, looking tired and irritated.
"Hey, you look rough, what happened?" Jon asked concerned.
"Wow, that makes me feel better, thanks" Karyn responded sarcastically "these boobs and hair happened duh!"
"Oh yeah" Jon had almost forget due to all the recent changes "sorry I can't help you fix it the stone's give missing"
"Huh, stone? We just need more coins, did you hit your head or something"
"Coins? Like one of these?!" Jon inquired brandishing the coin he'd found.
"OMG, yes, where did you even get this?"
"I honestly have no idea, I made a wish and you've got to believe me, I have no idea how any of this works"
A multitude of microexpressions passed through Karyn's face, Jon recognised joy, shock, mischievous then concern.
"Ok, time for some sex education. That's a coin of Janus. No one knows where they come from but since they give us our sexualities characteristics they're pretty vital. They just seem to turn up randomly during the 1st 2 weeks of January, where it gets its name. Flipping the coin whilst touching someone activates it. The one who flips the coin gets the effects of whatever lands face up and whoever is being touched gets the effects of face down. There's a few different types. Mine was a Mercury-Ceres coin which landed on Ceres so I became more motherly and Sarah got richer. I'd have preferred to have been richer" Karyn pouted.
"What's mine?" Jon wondered showing Karyn the coin.
"It appears to be a Mars-Venus" Karyn gasped "that's a very sexualised one, you'll get something in between your legs for sure, we might even be compatible" she winked suggestively "You've just got to decide who to flip it with"
