"I do understand that today has been...trying for all of you." Ms. Holloway began. "As such, we will postpone our first practice until Monday afternoon. That will give all of you tonight, as well as the entire weekend to adjust to your new bodies and situations."
"You said we didn't need to do this." Randi said. "Said you wouldn't force us."
"And I won't." Ms. Holloway said. "If you choose not to participate, that is your choice. However, the magic has been cast, and cannot be undone."
Jen and Karyn looked at each other as Ms. Holloway said that, nodding.
"What's more, the magic has made you all prime candidates to be cheer leaders. I think that you will not only find that you are capable of cheering, but you will have a desire to utilize your new skills."
"Mind control, then?" Trinity asked, venom in her voice. "You're not forcing us because you're trying to make us want to do it. Fuck that."
"Now, now, Ms. Blake. You still possess free will. You can still decide not to participate. But, I'll hear none of it until practice time on Monday. You will take the weekend to consider it."
Everyone looked around, but said nothing further on the matter.
"Now, one more point before I leave you all to your own devices. The magic that was performed here was very powerful. As such, no one outside of this room will have any knowledge of the world before the spells were woven. I would suggest not attempting to bring any of it up, as it may harm your credibility."
The atmosphere of the room became more tense at that. After a moment, Ms. Holloway nodded. "And that is all. I will be departing now. You girls have a good weekend, and I'll see you on Monday."
Ms. Holloway left, followed closely by Sarah, who glanced back at her transformed classmates before leaving the gym.
With the two perpetrators gone, all that remained were those whose lives were drastically impacted by the magic.
