As the new recruits got rid of their old clothes and donned their new cheerleader outfits (which made them look super hot, by the way), Sarah and Tiffany turned their attention back towards Jon.
"Now, what should we do with you?" Sarah asked, grinning.
"You could change him, like the others," Tiffany suggested.
But Sarah shook her head. "It doesn't work that way. It's supposed to be random. It only works if I have the blindfold on."
Blindfold? Jon thought. He looked over to his right and saw the blue-colored blindfold that Sarah had been wearing. Could it be that the blindfold was magic? Maybe Jon's wish was the thing that created it ... and then put it into the hands of someone completely untrustworthy, like Sarah McMillan.
"Maybe there's a way to do it without leaving it to chance," Tiffany said.
"What do you have in mind?" Sarah asked.
"What if I point you in his direction after you put the blindfold on? I could make him say something so you'd hear which direction he's in. I wouldn't have to actually turn your body to do it. Do you think that could work?"
Sarah smiled. "You know, you're a lot smarter than you look. I think it might work. What do you think about that?" she asked Jon, turning towards him. But he was gone!
Both girls frantically looked for him, then spotted him about fifteen feet away. He was reaching for the blindfold!
"No!" Sarah yelled.
