Hoping to find some clues about what was going on, he reached into the purse for some clues. Find an id, he saw that it was his own. Looking at it, it was his normal id, with nothing out of the ordinary about it. He did wonder how it had gotten there, but that thought would have to wait for later as the bell rung.
