Coming downstairs, the first thing he noticed was his sister Zoe. She was still Goth, but was now dressed more like a Goth boy than a Goth girl. But given what Jon had wished, that was to be expected. She wore a black T-shirt over a fishnet shirt, black-colored jeans, and black boots. She had a nose ring, but no other jewelry, and had eyeliner, but no other make-up. And her hair was short but spiky, with a tinge of blue. His little brother Mikey was wearing a white "girly" T-shirt with the picture of a unicorn on the front, and a pink pleated skirt. His hair was longer than usual and pulled back into two pigtails.
Both siblings were already seated at the kitchen table, but he didn't see his mom (Linda) anywhere. But that was because she hadn't arrived home from work yet.
Just then, Jon heard the front door opening and turned to see his new mom entering, looking quite a bit different wearing a sharp-looking suit and tie, not to mention a man's haircut and no make-up or jewelry. She set down her briefcase and smiled at her husband, who eagerly approached her. Once Roger was by her side, he kissed her cheek and took her suit jacket and hung it in the front closet, then escorted her to the kitchen table. She took a seat, loosening her necktie and sniffed the air. "Mmm, smells good. You have no idea how I've been looking forward to this. It was almost a nightmare at the office today."
Putting the food on all of their plates, Roger said "Oh? Did something unexpected happen?" he asked, wanting to know about his hard-working wife's day.
