The shopkeeper stood up and looked at the screen and scratched his chin. "That certainly is pretty weird. I wonder what could be causing that." he says to himself as he starts inspecting the connection and seeing that it was fine before stepping back in front of the TV to see if there was something else there.
Deciding to see if he could do something from the front, he starts to mess with the antenna of the set and when that doesn't do anything, he fiddles with the knobs. "I guess I'll just have to wait this out and see what happens and hopefully it fixes itself." he says as he sits back down and tries to mess with the SEGA controllers and see if maybe that does anything.
Back inside the game world, Brandon is unable to see anything thanks to the flash that had gone off. "What is that all about?" he asks aloud.
If he wasn't so caught up with the flash, he would've felt the protrusions that were starting to sprout from his back, getting larger by the second.
Knuckles was still doubled over from the knee that Brandon had given him and watched as the entire room was filled with the bright green light. "Just what has he done?" he asks starts to stand back up.
