As they were nearing the top of the steps, Knuckles glanced over at Brandon. "We're almost there, you look pretty excited about seeing this." he says with a bit of a suspicious glare at his traveling companion. 'I'm going to have to keep my eye on this one, he seems pretty fishy. I hope he doesn't think he might be able to steal it or something like that.' he thinks to himself as they reach the top of the stairs.
They finally reached the top of the steps and Knuckles nods his head and gestures at the Emerald. "Well, here it is...the Master Emerald." he says as he glances over towards it, keeping one eye on it, and the other eye on Brandon.
Brandon's eyes grow wide and have a twinkle to them as he is now able to see the Master Emerald up close. 'It's much more beautiful than I could've ever imagined.' he thinks to himself as he can't take his eyes off of it. It's even more amazing that he sees that he can even see his reflection radiating off of it.
The shopkeeper is watching the scene continue to unfold on his television set and looks closer at the screen so he can get a mental checklist of what's left to change on Brandon. "Still needs those heels to grow out of his boots and get that heart on the toes as well as his jumpsuit to finish off, grow his wings and turn female. Then he can be assimilated into the game as a character in it. I always enjoy watching a real person being pixilated into a video game." he says as he sits back and continues to watch the show take place.
Brandon is finding it harder to stand still as he can't take his eyes off of the gem. 'With this thing I can finally go home.' he thinks to himself although his idea of home is shifting towards a club in downtown Mobius.
