Suddenly, Simon had an idea. He picked up the phone and called his secretary, Debbie Stern. "Debbie, can you find out the phone number for Magik & Associates?" He had seen an ad in town for this new company that had opened up recently. Apparently, they could fix any problem that was presented to them, for a price of course. He remembered looking at the name of the business and noticing that the name Magik sounded quite a bit like the word "magic", but that was probably just a coincidence. Magic didn't really exist and Magik was probably just the owner's last name.
"I found the number," Debbie said over the phone. "Did you want me to call them?"
"No, no. Let me do that. Just tell me the number."
"It's 555-7735," Debbie said, before hanging up.
Simon paused, then dialed the number. A moment later, someone answered the phone.
