"Come on, let's get out of here," Jon told Athena. He pushed on the double doors and they moved easily, causing Jon, Athena, and everyone else who was trying to get out of the cafeteria to spill out into the hallway.
Jon helped Athena to the side of the hall, as the rest of the people fled to the school exits. Athena was in no shape to move any further and Jon didn't want to force her to leave the school with him. But he also didn't want to leave her there. Getting the stone was important, but he didn't want to sacrifice Athena's life (or rather lifestyle) to do it, no matter if he cared any about her.
He sat her down next to one of the restroom entrances, telling her to relax, that they were safe ... for the moment. He had to figure out what to do next.
