Tommy pulled and pulled on the ring, but it just wouldn't budge. Then he had a thought. Maybe if he used something to make his finger slick, maybe then it would come off.
So moments later, after he applied soap and water to his finger and pulled with all of his effort, the ring finally came off.
He collapsed onto his couch in exhaustion. He never felt more relieved than he did right now. But then he thought about all the people that had changed because of the ring. True, some of them were an improvement, but it was all unnatural. He had to find some way to fix it. But he couldn't use the ring while wearing it. He'd have to get someone else to wear it first. But who?
