Larry stood in front of Gloria again, about to begin her conditioning (again), when suddenly Destiny gasped. "What ... what's happening? How did I get in your office?" She looked genuinely confused. What Larry didn't know was that while Destiny's conditioning did work, it was only temporary because it went so powerfully against her will.
"Who's that guy?" she asked, pointing at the old man slouched in the chair. "Oh, wait a minute. Didn't I, like, see him earlier when I was dancing?" She turned her attention back to Larry. "What's wrong with Gloria? She looks dazed."
Larry sighed and grabbed the spray bottle. He guessed that he didn't use a large enough dose of the stuff on her, but that wasn't the reason she came out of her conditioning.
"What's that?" she asked, looking at the bottle. She saw Larry with that before ... before ... before she blacked out. Had she blacked out? It was hard to remember.
"Stand still," Larry said, bringing the bottle up to her face.
Her eyes went wide. She remembered. Larry sprayed her with something about twenty minutes ago and she blacked out, and then she suddenly found herself in Larry's office.
"You did something to me, didn't you?" she asked.
"Yes, I did. But in a moment, you won't care."
