"Alright, Jon, step onto the platform, and get ready to be Colorado Springs' first member of our cultural exchange program. We're going to be sending you to Guatemala. Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish. Certainly mental adjustments will take place to ensure a safe transition." Jon stepped onto the platform, and got ready for the shift.
His vision blurred for a few seconds, and he felt his head spin. The feeling only lasted a few seconds, and soon enough he was in a new gymnasium. This one seemed much poorer than his own gym. It was smaller, there were no bleachers, and what little pieces of equipment he did see all seemed rather old and in disrepair. He stepped off the platform, and began to examine himself.
He was immediately shocked by what he saw. Judging by the giant breasts blocking his view, he was no longer male. Fuck, though Jon. How could they do this to me? Shit, I really need to figure this out. Fortunately, a mirror had been set up for the new arrivals to see. She quickly walked over, trying to ignore the bouncing feeling on her chest, and examined herself.
She was, in a word, hot. She was in a Catholic school uniform, just like most of the other students milling about the gym. The end of her skirt was folded up a little further than the sisters would've liked, revealing long and well-toned legs. Continuing upward, her wide hips tapered into a tight, flat stomach. The words sort of came to her, but with a lot of effort, and she knew she was butchering the grammar. Better switch over to Spanish; it was her new native language. "I mean, is that you, Karyn?"
The other girl looked confused. "What? No. You didn't think you would've known the other exchange students, did you? Listen, there are thousands of these programs worldwide. All sorts of nations and cultures have this exchange. Your classmates could be literally anywhere right now. It's not necessarily just a cultural exchange, either, there are all tons of unique programs. I'm Li Ren, I'm from Beijing. I'm a university student studying Latin American culture. I was sent to this high school because this gives me a different perspective from university life. I actually already finished up a term living as a medical student in Santiago, and I've got a few more planned after this. What did you say your name was?"
Jon didn't want to reveal her identity quite yet. "I said my name was Jen. I'm an American. It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you, too, Jen. I wasn't aware that there was going to be an American joining us, but the last exchange student is a girl from Paris. It's pretty exciting to meet people from all over the world who take part in these programs."
While they were talking, the third person finished up. This one was a teenage boy. He looked around, eyes incredibly wide. It was as if he was taking in all the sights, not letting one thing pass him by. He got a big grin on his face, and promptly fainted.
"Okay, Karyn, you're next. You're actually going to be staying in Colorado Springs. Notice how Jon's body just went rigid after he went on to his destination? You're going to be a Gender Ambassador. The idea is that if people spend time in the bodies of the opposite sex, they'll learn to appreciate the problems other people can have, and it will reduce sexism."
Karyn stepped on the platform, and was unsurprised when her view shifted just a few yards. So this is what Jon's body feels like. Interesting. It was nice to get away from the giant boobs that wish gave him. Speaking of which Karyn shoved his hand into his pocket. Yep, the stone was there. Very interesting. A grin spread across his face. Karyn turned back around toward the platform. His body was stepping off, and it was Sarah's turn to go on. The principal started the process.
"Sarah, you're last. I'm sorry we couldn't have trained you better, but there was a last minute mixup. You're going to a very special program. You're oh, shit." Sarah's face spaced out for a fraction of a second, then started to look around confused, just like Karyn's did immediately after the transfer. "I'm a girl?" she asked. The principal sighed. The transfer occurred before he could warn Sarah, but it was too late.
Sarah felt her head spin, just like Jon and Karyn before her. The room was pitch black, so she decided to figure out what she could while waiting for her eyes to adjust. She had something weird in her hand. She was a girl. Air smelled a little cleaner than the sweaty gym room she just came from. Everything seemed good. Except her eyes weren't adjusting. And all of a sudden it hit her. The thing in her hand was a cane. She was completely blind.
