"Jon, you, Sarah, and Karen are being sent to a public high school in Texas. I'm afraid I don't have any details on your host body, but I'm sure the school will fill you in when you arrive."
With that, the principal nodded to the technician at the console, who pressed some buttons. Jon, standing on the platform, felt a charge of electricity pass through his body, though it wasn't painful.
He closed his eyes and when he opened them again he was in another gymnasium. This one looked older, smaller, and less well cared for than his old gym. There were many students sitting in the bleachers, all looking at him. The signs on the walls around the gym all cheered on the "West Texas High Lions", and Jon guessed that was the name of his new school for the year.
With a bit of trepidation, Jon looked down, and got the shock of his life! He was wearing a cheerleader's uniform, and the red and gold top was pushed out by a pair of, what seemed to him at this angle, to be very large breasts! Long golden hair fell into his eyes as he tilted his head down to get a better look at himself. He, no, SHE wore a very short skirt and had long, smooth, tanned legs flowing down into some cute little tennis shoes. She could feel panties tight against her crotch, and a bra's straps biting into her shoulders, but resisted the urge to feel her body's new dimensions in front of the assembled students in the gym.
"Bethany, are you alright?" a voice called from her left, and she looked over at a man standing at a podium. "I, I'm f-fine, Principal Draper," she said, as Jon marveled at her high, sweet voice. 'Do I really sound like that now?', she wondered to herself. 'And how did I know this Principal's name?'
"Well, then please step down from there Bethany and let the next student onto the platform," the principal said.
Jon, still a bit unsteady, stepped down and went over to the bleachers to sit down. Her skirt swished against her thighs with every step, reminding her of who she now was, and would be for a whole year! She looked back at the platform, and saw a tall, lanky farm boy dressed in coverall stepping onto it. 'Will Karyn or Sarah get that body?' Jon thought to herself. The energy crackled again, the farmboy looked around, and down at himself in wonder. The principal asked him to step down as well and he wandered over to where Jon was sitting.
"Are...are you... Jon?" he asked.
"Yes, it's me, though I somehow know my name is also Bethany Wilder... and you're in the body of Joe-Bob Decker. But were you Karyn or..."
"I'm, I was Sarah. I can't believe this! Like you, I'm remembering bits and pieces of this life... and I remember Joe-Bob is dirt poor, and lives on a hog-farm outside of town with his older brother and 5 sisters! And, Jon, Bethany, I seem to remember that Joe-Bob thinks you have quite a... reputation around the school. I, he remembers you sleeping with his older brother last year when he was still a senior and the QB of the football team! He's had a crush on you ever since, and that was why he volunteered to do this exchange program with you, but like us he didn't know what kind of exchange it was until the last minute!"
"Wait, there's the 3rd student, that must be the body Karyn is getting," Jon said. A beautiful Hispanic girl with long dark hair and piercing eyes wearing a blue summer dress and short heels warily stepped onto the platform, and for the last time the machine hummed to life. In a moment it was over, and she approached Jon and Sarah.
"Oh Jon," she said while looking at Joe-Bob,"that's a rather handsome body you got! And Sarah," she said, turning to Bethany's body, "I know we haven't gotten along that well in the past, but I hope this exchange year gives us a chance to get to know each other better. And that body you got is at least as beautiful as your own."
"Karyn," Jon said in her sweet voice, "you've got it backwards... I'm Jon, and that's Sarah!"
