Jon and Karyn entered the gymnasium with the rest of the school. They took their seats like everyone else, and once everyone was seated, the school's principal began to speak.
"Attention students." their principal said. "Our school has been selected to take part in a special transfer program. Several students havee been selected at random, and will be given the privledge of being sent to a different school, and attending that school for the rest of the year. The selected students have been put into groups of three, and each group will be sent to a different school." There was whispering amongst the crowd of students, none knowing how to react.
"You think this has anything to do with your wish?" Karyn asked Jon.
"Probably." Jon replied. "And if it does, I'm willing to bet that I'm one of the students that get selected."
"The first group of students is..." the principal said as he was handed an evelope, which he opened up and pulled out a piece of paper. "Jon Gibson, Sarah McMillan, and Karyn Black. You three, please head to the exit where someone will be waiting for you."
"Ugh, I can't believe I have to be sent to another school with you." Sarah said as she glared over to Karyn.
"Oh believe me, the feeling is mutual." Karyn replied.
The three of them now sat in an office, waiting to be told the details about where they would be going. "We don't know the details about the school, except that it is a private school. You will be staying on campus, and your families have already been contacted and have agreed to allow you to attend." the principal said.
"What about our things?" Jon asked.
"Accoding to this paper, you won't need to bring anything. Everything such as uniforms, supplies, and other stuff will be provided for you there. There is a car waiting to take you to your new school outside. Now please hurry; you shouldn't make them wait, and I do have to talk with other students about where they're being sent."
Jon sat in the middle, between Karyn and Sarah because neither of them wanted to sit next to eachother. The long ride had been quite, both girls refusing to talk to the other. They had been in the car for several hours.
"We're pulling up to the school now." the driver said as the car slowed down. The three exitted the car and looked upon their new school.
