Once Trevor was bound and gagged, he was placed to Jon's left. And when he finally woke, he was none too pleased.
"Mmmmm," he yelled at the man who knocking him out, glaring at him with fury, as he did so.
But their captor just stared back with those same dead eyes.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. And a moment later, it opened. Jon's heart sank. It was another victim.
The boy wandered into the room and looked around curiously, probably wondering why he was called down to a dark empty room. Then his eyes went wide when he spotted Jon, Trevor, and Biff, all tied up and gagged.
"What the devil?" he said. Jon recognized the voice. It belonged to Jay Duncan, one of the smartest and geekiest guys in the high school.
Jon tried to warn him with more muffled screams, but it did no good. He was knocked out as easily as Jon was.
