After Steve didn't come back, even all the way to the end of his first period class, Jon was even more curious as to what was going on. He wished he would have brought the stone with him, then he could just wish to know, but as it was, he'd have to do things the old fashioned way.
When class was over and the five-minute break between first and second period began, Jon headed to the basement instead of his locker. Soon, he'd get to the bottom of this.
