Jon rushed to his locker and Karyn followed. "Jon, what is it?" she asked him on the way there.
He opened his locker and pulled out the stone. He had put it there for safe keeping. "I wish to know what my last wish did." The stone glowed and he got his answer.
"Jon? What wish are you talking about?" Karyn asked.
His eyes went wide. "People are disappearing and being sent to alternate realities."
"What?"
"Sarah was just the first. Eventually everyone in town is ..."
Suddenly, Karyn disappeared right before his eyes.
