"What you're going through is perfectly normal for pregnancy."
"Pregnancy?" Jon nearly shouted. What? he thought. I'm pregnant?
"Yes, dear," answered his mother. "Its called morning sickness. A lot of people get it when they get pregnant. I had it particularly bad when I was pregnant with Zoe."
"But, but, how," said Jon. Jon sat down in the nearest chair, in a state of shock. "I'm a guy. How could I be pregnant?"
"Don't you remember, Jon?" said his mom, sitting down next to him. "I was so proud when you told me that you wanted to go through with the proceedure. Remember how happy we both were when you told me that you were finally pregnant? Now stop being silly and get ready for school. Pregnant or not, you are going to graduate and be able to provide for your baby."
Still stunned, Jon got ready for school. He still felt sick, but it felt more like a shocked sick than the morning sickness he had felt earlier. Perhaps Karyn would be able to help. Regardless, he ceartainly got his wish for something interesting to happen.
