I can TRY, but I'm not sure it'd be easy to start off their interaction on Earth. I mean, on the Moon, the fact that there are people there would be enough to start an interaction. In such a scenario I'd also make sure NOT to have Cass or Lucas know who Anneza was initially.

That's Lucas wouldn't lift a finger to help Anneza if she knew. "Anderson", as far as Lucas would see, was someone that would love to take away Lucas's rights/freedom/relegate her to second class citizenship, and this is the one thing Lucas can be downright sociopathic about. Of course, Lucas WOULD forgive it if Anneza showed regret, but it's not easy to do so if you can't speak the language.

On Earth, there'd be scant reason for them to interact enough to start a conversation, and the only ACTUAL reason I can think of for them to actually start a conversation should they, for instance, pass by each other would have both Lucas and Cass outright HOSTILE to Anneza, on account of her having been a high-profile "racist".

The problem is Cass is nice, but not nearly nice enough to go "oh, let's help the racist with the language issues he brought upon himself", should they recognize Anneza as such, and Lucas is not nearly as nice as Cass. Heck, Lucas wouldn't pee on "Anderson" if he were on fire.

If you can provide me with an opening that would work and wouldn't start with hostility, I'll be glad to have it take place on Earth.
