After fleeing Mr. Everett's room, Nurse Williams headed straight into the nearest restroom. She splashed water on her face and looked at herself in the mirror. What was wrong with her? It almost felt like ... like she was two people.
When she stared at herself in the mirror, it was like someone else was staring back. And she knew who that someone was. It was Jon Everett, the boy in the coma.
She cocked her head to the right and kept staring at herself, a smile beginning to form on her lips. She never thought women were hot before, but now suddenly, she felt that way about herself. She was actually attracted to herself.
Susan shook her head. What was she thinking? Attracted to herself?
It was Jon. Those were Jon's thoughts. She just knew it. She had no idea how it was possible, but it seemed that some of Jon's mind was in her head. But it wasn't like he had control over her mind. It was more like she was accessing his feelings and memories, almost as if they were her own. This was very unsettling to say the least. She obviously couldn't go on like this, could she? Thinking like herself most of the time and then thinking like a teenage boy for the rest?
She had to do something about this. But what?
