"Have you seen Nurse Williams?" Dr. Mitchell asked the nurse sitting behind the counter at the nurses' station.
"I think she left to use the restroom," she answered.
"How long ago was that?" the doctor asked.
"You know, now that you mention it, it does seem like she's been gone a while."
Jon decided to go to Karyn's house. If she wasn't there right now, then she would be eventually. He'd just wait for her.
He started walking in the direction of her house when suddenly he began to get really dizzy and tired. Then, without any warning, everything went black.
"He's coming around, Doctor," a female voice said.
Jon opened his eyes and saw the nurse that was in his hospital room earlier, and to her left was Doctor Mitchell.
"What a relief," the doctor said. "I don't know if you knew this or not, Mr. Everett, but you lapsed back into a coma less than an hour ago. We've been trying to wake you ever since."
Jon looked around, then down at himself. He was back in his own body. It seemed that his astral projecting was over. At least, for the moment.
Nurse Susan Williams looked around. "How did I get out here?" The last thing she remembered was being at the nurses' station filling out some paper work. She didn't even remember leaving the hospital.
