On their way through the mall, Zoe and Jess passed an EB Games store. Jess had remembered going there quite a bit when she was Jon. As Jon, she had bought a lot of computer and video games. But now, she wasn't interested in those sorts of things anymore.
She was only interested in things that Zoe was interested in. So, when Zoe began to walk toward the store entrance, Jess wondered why.
"Zoe, why are you going in there?" she asked.
"I don't know. It just looks interesting."
"But there's nothing in there but video games. Wouldn't you rather go to Hot Topic?" Jess had been looking forward to picking up some new clothes from there.
"Well, yeah. But I'm only going to look around a little. That's all."
Zoe entered the video game store, leaving Jess waiting outside. As Zoe wandered the aisles of EB Games, she became more and more interested in video games and less interested in gothic things. She also continued to change into a guy, although she didn't notice. Yet.
