A bit under an hour later, Jeane got up from their chair and began preparing for their night out. Jeane sat on their bed as they considered what they should wear on their first night out at college. Despite the help they had gotten from their new friends, the issue of where to get nutrition still pressed on Jeane's mind. They needed to find an SO and fast. Jeane knew the best way to do this would be to dress attractively.
Jeane rummaged through their drawers looking for something to wear. As a Bo-Fe, Jeane's clothes were mostly androgynous. In their lower drawer, they had multiple pair of jeans and shorts, as well as a single pair of overalls. Jeane had considered wearing leggings in the past, but the risk of getting erections in their yonus had made that too much of a risk, considering their iffy social life.
Jeane had stashed their collection of shirts and bras in the second drawer of their dresser. Although Jeane's need for bras was dubious at best, they nevertheless kept a few on had, as it seemed like something that was expected of them. Jeane's collection of shirts was considerable. Appart from the button-up shirt they had worn to dinner, Jeane counted among them a number of band shirts, some sleeveless shirts, a turtle neck.
Jeane considered how they should dress for the night. With the end-goal of finding an SO in mind, Jeane thought it best to dress more feminine, or masculinely than they normally would. Their odds would probably be better if their status as a Bo-Fe was somewhat less obvious. It dawned on Jeane that none of their clothes were explicitly gendered. They supposed that they could always ask Tricia or Darren to lend them something to wear. It might not fit them perfectly, but it would at least be what they were looking for.
After some back-and-forth, Jeane came to a conclusion.
