Everyone looked at the paper, as words began to magically appear on it, explaining just what Jon needed to do to make Wendi grant wishes.
He had to travel back to where his grandfather found the stone: an archeological dig in central Peru. Once there, he would have to perform a ritual to empower Wendi with wishing capabilites. The ritual directions followed.
"I have to go to Peru?" Jon said.
"If you want my wishing ability back," Wendi said.
"There's got to be another way."
"What if there isn't?" Karyn asked. She looked around on the suitcase. "Look. Here." She pointed to an address on the suitcase. It was in Spanish, but she did make out the name Peru on it. "This is where Wendi came from."
"Do you remember anything about there?" Jon asked. "Like, exactly where you were found by my grandfather?"
"No. I don't remember anything. I only became a girl when you wished it."
"But my grandfather said he change you into ..."
"That's a new reality made possible with your wish, Jon. Since I heard you make your wish ..."
"Yeah, yeah. I got it," Jon said.
"So, what are we going to do?" Karyn asked.
