Jon was very surprised to hear Wendi's answer, which was that Sarah McMillan would make out with Wendi, without even the hint of hesitation.
"Sarah?" Karyn finally said, breaking the shocked silence. "But, she's not like that."
"Actually, she is," Wendi smiled. "She wouldn't tell anyone, of course, but she loves making out with girls."
"She's a lesbian?" Jon asked.
"No. She's bisexual. She does have a boyfriend, you know."
"You didn't make her that way, did you?" Jon asked Wendi. He still wasn't completely sure what Wendi could and couldn't do. Well, except for the fact that she couldn't make her own wishes, which was what Jon specifically wished for when he turned the stone into a girl. But beyond that, who knew what kind of "powers" she had? Besides her quasi-telepathy.
"No. Of course not. But I could make Karyn that way. If you wish it."
"Why do you keep asking me to do that?" Jon asked.
"It's what you want."
"Wendi, listen to me. What I want and what is right is different. Got it?"
"But, the reason I exist is to fulfill your wildest dreams and desires."
"Well, yeah. But ..." He could see that he wasn't going to win this arguement. There was no way that she was ever going to see things the way he did.
Unless ...
Jon touched her shoulder again. "I wish that you would think like a human girl."
