Karyn broke the silence by asking the guy behind the counter "Okay, he's gone. Now tell us what you were about to say."
"No way. I've learned my lesson. I'll be quiet."

"You don't understand. They're everywhere. I thought I could do it without them knowing, but I can't. I just don't have the power." Then he looked at Jon and pointed at him. "But he does. That's why the Watcher left."
"The Watcher?" Karyn asked.
"I ... I didn't say it." He started getting scared again. No, not scared. Horrified.

Jon and the others were standing in the middle of a corn field. Their car was parked on the side of the road.
"What exactly just happened?" Zoe asked.
