They opened the door into the bedroom. And on the bed, they saw ... Sarah McMillan!
"What the hell?" Jon said.
Sarah squirmed awake. She was shocked when she saw Jon and Karyn in the room with her. "Hey! How did you get here? Why are you in my room?" But then she looked around. This wasn't her room.
"Where am I? Why did you bring me here?"
"We didn't. We were brought here too," Karyn said.
"Yeah, right. Like I'm supposed to believe that."
She got out of bed, wearing only a pair of pink panties. She immediately covered herself with the bed sheet. "What the hell did you do with my clothes?" Then she noticed what Jon and Karyn were wearing and started to laugh. Jon looked ridiculous standing there in just his underwear.
"Stop it," he said.
"No way. You look ridiculous in those ..."
There was a loud boom.
"What was that?" Sarah asked.
"We don't know," Karyn answered.
Jon walked around the bed and to the closet, where he found some clothes. Unfortunately, they were all girl's clothes. He took out a pink T-shirt with a big heart on the front.
"Hey, those are my clothes," Sarah said, irritated that Jon was sifting through them.
"Yeah? Well now they're all of our clothes." He put the T-shirt on and found a pair of jeans and put those on as well.
"Fine, then," Sarah said, holding back a laugh. "If you want to dress as a girl."
"It's better than just wearing my underwear." He looked towards Karyn. "How about you?"
"I'm fine," she said, willing to stay in her T-shirt and pajama bottoms. But mostly not wanting to wear any of Sarah's stuff. "But if there are any shoes in there ..."
"I'm already ahead of you." Jon picked up a pair of sneakers that were on the floor of the closet and gave them to Karyn.
"Those aren't mine," Sarah said.
Jon picked up another pair of sneakers that looked a little like the ones he wore at home. They were even his size. He put them on.
Then they left the room, giving Sarah some privacy to get dressed herself. They both hated her, but given this strange situation, they kind of felt sorry for her.
But more for themselves. They may be stuck in this place for a while. And they'll be stuck in it with her.
